Paris Fashion Week with MATTIJS VAN BERGEN

Mattijs van Bergen, Amsterdam-based designer, invited us to the presentation of his new Van Gogh - inspired collection, Complémentaire, at the Dutch Embassy in Paris. Later on we had the chance to interview him and find out more - not only about this new collection for Autumn - Winter 2014 but also about himself.

Steven Tai is a part of the showroom that I am working with since the last season.

For that reason I am more than happy to announce that he is one of the 5 deisgners that Vogue decided to feature for the call the tune project of Wowcracy in collaboration with Vogue Talents.

I really believe in his talent and except of his creativity he is also an A-mazing person.

THE ENDLESS FASHION WEEK

"After winning the first ever Chloé award at the Hyères festival last year, chosen by the head of jury Yohji Yamamoto.  Following the award, Steven was invited by Mercedes Benz to present a full catwalk collection at SS13 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin.   

AW13 saw his first show back at his home country in Toronto, Canada where he developed innovative silicone textiles that reinterpreted the traditional masculinity of skiwear into modern feminine designs with voluminous tailoring and playful energy.

Building upon the success of last season, SS14 will see the launch of an unique collaboration that will bring to life a series of accessories.  The project aims to present new opportunities to work with various creatives in different fields in bag and shoes designs.  To maintain a top quality of work, this project will focus on working with graduates from the Royal Collage of Arts. 

The project propose new creative opportunities but it also builds new industrial connections. The development and production of the bags will create a new relationship with Italia leather manufacturer, Linea Pelle, who produces the luxurious leather goods for brands such as Damir Doma.  

As a strong believer that open and interdisciplinary collaborations will lead to new and unexpected synergies between creatives, Steven Tai is very excited to work with Call the Tunes and Vogue Talents to fund the project and have the chance to interact with the brand's supporters." -By Wowcracy

PFW UPDATES

Hello angels!! Finally I am back! Sorry for being lost the past two weeks but a lot of things have happened..

Such as a lost iPhone and a lost luggage.. :/ but the good news is that I am moving to Paris! 

Two weeks ago as you know I attended Paris fashion week and I have new outfits, interviews and launches to show to you!

For today, a Lena Lumelsky stunning dress jeweled with Heaven's Tanudiredja handmade necklace from their latest collections for Fall/Winter 2013-14!

Nasha Mekraksavanich | Grazia Magazine

I've been working like crazy these past few days that's why the lack of new posts.. :( BUT I'll come back with a lot of new styles this week! Till then I want to share my happiness with you guys!!! I just found this article in Grazia magazine!

I had an interview this October during Paris fashion week with the bag designer Nasha Mekraksavanich in the showroom she was presenting her collection for Spring/Summer 2013! (you can find the interview here)
So..I found out that they've used a photo from my post!!! Which makes me suuuper happy not only for Nasha- she's an amazing bag designer, with must have items!!- but also for me!! :D
I am a huge fan of her and I can't wait to see her and also her new collection for Fall/Winter 2013-14 !!

FURNE ONE | AMATO HAUTE COUTURE

 

This time I have something different..

A designer based in Dubai but originally from Philippines.

His name is Furne One. Furne is the designer and owner of the brand Amato Haute Couture and he has never been in a higher demand. Celebrated for his natural ability to craft extravagant and artistic designs. His natural ability led him to be one of the most hotly anticipated designers on the global fashion stage. This collection, named as "It's alive", is one of my favorite.. Presented for Fall 2012.

My personal opinion for this collection:

It's a romantic + technological “ALIENish” collection.. This presentation brings the robotic/”ALIENish” but at the same time "birds & butterflies" romantic aura.. Gives the essence of sweet darkness and scary romance.

MARGIELA X H&M FULL COLLECTION REVEALED

Now you can officially see the whole Margiela collection x H&M.

The collection consists of 101 items, 59 womenswear  and 42 menswear, clothes, accessories, bags and shoes. The color pallet : white, beige, blue, black, red and burgundy. 

You can find it in stores on the 15^th of November. There are a lot of items so I think they are enough for everybody!!! Start thinking your choices! I already chose mine! ;) Can’t wait to see them and the most important to PURCHASE THEM!

I've created a womenswear and a menswear lookbook and I divided into clothing, accessories, bags & shoes so it will be easier for you to see them! ENJOY!!
